Fort Myers man sentenced to 35 years in prison for attempted murder

In August 2017 a man was arrested for a shooting in downtown Fort Myers. In January, a jury found him guilty of attempted murder. He has been sentenced in court Sunday.

Derek Alexander Riccobono, 27, has been sentenced to 35 years in prison followed by 15 years of probation for attempted first-degree murder and discharging a firearm from a vehicle.
