Cape Coral police execute search warrant, find semi-automatic guns and drugs

Cape Coral police say they conducted a search warrant following a month long investigation, and were able to seize An abundance of drugs, drug packaging equipment and supplies along with several firearms and ammunition.

CCPD says on March 6 they executed a search warrant 1012 NE 44th Street, after investigating Deshane Laman Anderson, 23, for selling drugs.

Inside the home they found drugs, drug packing equipment, and supplies along with several firearms and ammunition inside.

The firearms included a .50 caliber semiautomatic rifle, a 37mm underbarrel launcher, 5.56mm semiautomatic rifles, pistols, and a semiautomatic carbine.

Anderson was charged with 2-counts of Sale of Marijuana, 2-counts of Possession of Marijuana Over 20 grams, 2-counts of Sale of a Controlled Substance, 2-counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Sell, 2-counts Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell, and 3-counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Anderson was later transferred to the Lee County Jail.
