Former Collier teacher turns himself in, faces additional molestation charges
A former Collier County Public Schools teacher faces new molestation and sexual battery charges on victims under 12 years old.
Hector Manley, 30, turned himself in to Collier County jail Thursday.
Manley faces 10 additional charges for Lewd and Lascivious Molestation on a Victim Under 12 and one charge for Capital Sexual Battery on a Victim Under 12, per a Collier County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post.
Thirteen victims have now come forward according to a new arrest report.
The new charges come after Collier County Public Schools fired Manley after a school board meeting Tuesday.
The investigation into the former teacher began after two victims told a youth relations deputy they were inappropriately touched by Manley.
Manley previously worked at Parkside Elementary School in Naples, where he taught students and worked as a soccer coach.
