9-year-old boy injured in ATV crash in Immokalee

According to Collier County Sheriff’s, medics airlifted a 9-year-old boy in a helicopter after an ATV crashed into a ditch.

Immokalee Fire Control District reported the boy seriously injured a crash on Westclox Street in Immokalee Monday.

The child was ruled a trauma alert, and a MedFlight helicopter took the boy to the hospital.

Westclox St. is west of State Road 29.

The boy’s condition after being taken to the hospital has not been released.
