7 homeless after fire destroys Naples mobile home

A Naples mobile home ignited in a blaze Sunday morning.

Greater Naples Fire responded to a mobile home at the 200 block of Coolidge Place near 5:30 a.m. Despite its best efforts, the fire resulted in a total loss of the mobile home.

The smell of smoke awakened one family member. She quickly woke her boyfriend. They noticed an add-on room to the trailer was on fire, then proceeded to evacuate the mobile home.

Seven people live at the residence, but only three were present at the time of the fire. Luckily, there were no injuries, according to the fire dept.

At this time, the cause of the fire is unknown.
