Spring training kicks off in SWFL

Spring Training for the 2019 MLB season is about to begin, and there is a lot of excitement about it here in Southwest Florida.

The reigning champions, Boston Redsox kick off the season Friday with a game against the Northeastern Huskies, followed by a Saturday matchup against the Yankees at 1:00 p.m.

The Minnesota Twins also call Southwest Florida their home for the Spring, and they kick off their training season against the Tampa Bay Rays on Sunday at the Century Links Park here in Fort Myers.
