A woman was arrested for the deaths of 3 family members that happened in a car crash back in October, 2018.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, on Thursday, Olivia Joane Kohut, 33, was arrested for three counts of Vehicular Manslaughter and one count of Reckless Driving involving serious injuries.

On October 18, Kohut  and a young girl were driving her Dodge Ram truck eastbound on 14th Street in Lehigh Acres at speeds above the posted 45 MPH limit.

The car carrying Chester Baker, 51, Dawn Baker, 47, and Jamison Baker, 4, pulled into an intersection after stopping at a stop sign, and drove directly into the path of Kohut, causing Kohut to slam into the side of the Baker’s automobile.

The crash remains under investigation, but Kohut was arrested on and booked into the Lee County jail.
