Armed robber targets same victim multiple times

An armed robber accused of robbing two unsuspecting women Saturday, Feb. 16 tried to rob one of them again.

Victoria Bravo says a neighbor alerted her that someone was inside her car in the parking lot of an apartment complex Wednesday night.

Bravo says it was the second time she had seen that person. The first time is when he dragged her across the grassy area near the parking lot and eventually ripping her prused away from her. She said she was unloading groceries while her 5-year-old daughter was in the car.

Bravo says the suspect actually took her car overnight for a joyride. She says she’s not a smoker, but the smell was evident in her car. She also noticed things were misplaced. Bravo then noticed that same person trying to get into her car again tonight and called Fort Myers Police Department immediately.

FMPD believes that same person robbed another woman at gunpoint on Saturday while she was getting something out of her trunk. Bravo says police caught the suspect tonight while sitting in her car.

WINK News reached out to FMPD for more information on the suspect but hasn’t heard back.
