Credit: WINK News. In a recorded message to parents of Lexington Middle School students, Principal Kristin Bueno confirmed an arrest of a student after a threat was made. Bueno said in the message: “In partnership with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office we have identified the student we believe is behind the threat I sent a message about this morning. “Deputies have arrested the student and we have begun the discipline process through the school. “In this case, the student’s actions will have severe legal and educational consequences.” Bueno encourages parents to talk with their children about the negative impacts of making a threat. A second student was arrested Wednesday for making what police called a non-credible threat at Oasis Middle School in Cape Coral. The district also reminds there is a zero tolerance policy, when it comes to incidents like this.
