Last month, Cape Coral Police found a red car running in the middle of the 800 block of Miramar Street. The driver inside was asleep with his foot on the brake. Despite repeated attempts, Donald Maness would not wake up. Then the officers decided to give that driver a little wake-up call — shattering the car window. A video shows a confused Maness with a bloody cut on his nose, sitting inside of his car covered in glass. It was an intense moment to wake the man Cape Coral officers believe should have never been behind the wheel in his state.
