2 suspects arrested for North Fort Myers botched robbery

Two men were arrested for an attempted robbery that took place Saturday at a shopping plaza, while a third suspect was injured and is in the hospital.

Lee County Sheriff’s Office arrested Joshua Tatlock, 32, and Killian Irberseder, 18, Sunday for the attempted robbery at the 500 block of Pine Island Road in North Fort Myers.

On Saturday, the three suspects entered a Little Caesars pizza restaurant at the shopping plaza. The men confronted victims inside the store. One of the victims had a firearm and shot the suspect who is now at a hospital receiving treatment. The suspect’s name has not been released by law enforcement.

Tatlock and Irberseder fled in a vehicle but were later stopped by deputies and detained. Later on, detectives connected the suspects with the robbery.

Both men were arrested for Armed Burglary of an Occupied Structure and Aggravated Assault.
