LCSO arrests three people suspected of dealing drugs

Three people suspected of dealing drugs were arrested Tuesday.

Martez Trevonne Lyn Durrah, 24, was arrested, suspected on charges of Sale and Possession of Cocaine, Possession of a Structure to Sell Narcotics, Use of a Two Way Communication Device to Commit a Felony, and a Warrant for Failure to Appear (Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Cocaine).

Cindy Yvonne Williams, 46, was arrested, suspected on charges of  2-counts of Sale and Possession of Cocaine, 2-counts of Possession of a Structure to Sell Narcotics, Use of a Two Way Communication Device to Commit a Felony, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Jorge Francisco Maya, 27, was arrested, suspected on charges of 2-counts of Sale of Cocaine within 1,000 feet of a church, 2-counts of Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Sell within 1,000 feet of a church, Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Sell, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Last Oct., the Cape Coral Police Department Investigative Services Bureau received information that Cindy Williams was distributing illegal drugs within the city limits of Cape Coral, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office press release.

This information received was verified and an investigation was initiated by detectives, per the press release. Two controlled illegal drug purchases were made during the investigation. On Jan. 22, Williams with the assistance of Durrah was arrested.

During a separate, unrelated incident, in June 2018, the CCPD Investigative Services Bureau received information that Maya was distributing illegal drugs within the city limits of Cape Coral. The investigation by detectives had controlled purchases of illegal drugs from Maya.

During a traffic stop on Jan. 22 K9 Officer Scrobe and K9 Carbon alerted to illegal drugs in the vehicle that Maya was driving, the press release states.

Durrah, Williams, and Maya were all transferred to the Lee County Jail.
