North Cape Coral brush fire contained, Burnt Store Rd closed

Authorities responded to a brush fire near Yucca Pens Unit State Wildlife Management Area in north Cape Coral Monday.

Burnt Store Road remains closed between Caloosa Parkway and Durden Parkway.

As of 5:45p.m. the fire is 100-percent contained. It had spread over a total of 20 acres.

Cape Coral Fire Department was on scene along with forestry service.

The cause is unknown at this time.
