The man looks inside the front door and goes around to the garage and side of the house. One Cape Coral family noticed an armed suspect walking around their house Saturday via home surveillance on their Ring app. The couple was on vacation when they saw the recording. They called police right away and tried alerting all their neighbors. WINK news spoke to neighbors who said they are shocked that something like this reported incident would happen in their neighborhood. “It is very concerning because it has been a relatively safe area,” Dan Cortes said. “For the kids, good neighborhood and everything like that, but there’s been an increase in activity, and it’s very disturbing to know these things are happening around the area.” The couple is hoping everyone in the neighborhood sees the video, so they can take necessary precautions and hopefully identify the person. “It’s crazy,” Dave Wilkerson said. “It doesn’t seem like this neighborhood.”
