Jacksonville Police investigating shooting that left one dead and six injured

Jacksonville police say they are investigating a shooting that left one person dead and six others injured.

According to WJAX, an SUV pulled up to a hospital and dropped off six injured victims.

One was dead and one is in critical condition, and 4 others are in non-life threatening conditions. The deceased victim was 25, and the age range of the others is between 20-40 years old.

Investigators are working to determine if the SUV was parked or moving when the shooting took place, but JSO Lt. Ellis Burns said police believe all six victims were inside the SUV during the shooting.
