A scary situation involving a child in the Golden Gate Estates that has parents worried.

Collier County Deputies said a 15-year-old girl was walking to her bus stop on Wilson Blvd. Monday morning when a man approached her and demanded “all her stuff.”

Then, the man seized her arm. But she broke free and ran down 22nd Ave. NW while he fled south on Wilson.

“Totally scares me,” said Christl Ramirez, who lives nearby. “I mean I wouldn’t want that to happen to my kid.”

Here is the sketch of what the suspect may look like, released by Deputies. He is most likely 5″3′ and about 150 pounds.

“This is a little family neighborhood,” said Courtney Jolly, a mother who lives nearby. “We know everybody and kind of looking out for everybody.”

Jolly said she would keep an extra close eye.

“That’s just terrifying,” Jolly said. “It’s really scary to think that it could be our child, our neighbors’ child, any child. Doesn’t matter who it is, it’s just terrifying to think.”
