Everything and the kitchen sink was left sitting at the end of a southeast Cape Coral driveway.

Tom Foley, a Cape Coral resident, said a pile of garbage has been sitting on the curb of his front yard for nearly three weeks.

Foley is fed up with looking at the garbage. He even sent a text message to Council Member Jessica Cosden, which said, “It’s disgusting, disrespectful, and every scrap person now has crap everywhere.”

But the pile has loose papers and a giant pink tag. On the tag was a notice that Waste Pro could not pick it up because it does not meet its requirements.

WINK News went on the hunt to see if this was a problem just on this Cape Coral street.

We found one block over, the same pink sticker. A neighbor said it has been there since Christmas.

A couple blocks away, more of the same — the giant pink stickers are hard to miss.

So who is responsible? Neighbors like Foley said the homeowners and renters need to step it up.
