The victim, Ronald Green, 30, was transported to the hospital with “significant injuries” on Dec. 16 after being struck by gunfire on the interstate. It is now a homicide investigation, the sheriff’s office says. It is still unclear at this time how many others were involved, if the victim was targeted, or if there is a suspect or suspects on the loose. The investigation closed the interstate for hours two days in a row. Detectives are asking the public’s help in regards to the shooting.
