LCSO identifies victim of fatal stabbing in North Fort Myers

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office confirms the fatal stabbing of a man at the intersection of Pineapple Lane and Herron Road in North Fort Myers Thursday afternoon.

LCSO confirmed Friday the victim is Charles Fowler, 31. Next-of-kin have been notified.

A ‘person of interest’ was detained for questioning Thursday, but a suspect has not been named.

The sheriff’s office held a press conference but haven’t released any further information.
