Jury finds Imari Gray guilty in third Lake Boyz trial Wednesday

A jury found Imari Gray guilty of conspiracy to commit racketeering in a third Lake Boyz trial Wednesday.

Just last month, a jury convicted Tommy Williams on racketeering charges, but that came a month after the acquittal of four other accused gang members.

Prosecutors and police stood up to argue the safety of the Fort Myers community and with completely different outcomes for the first two trials which just goes to show that anything can happen.

Now a third jury heard much of the same evidence, this time, with Imari Gray on trial, accused of conspiring to commit crimes as part of the Lake Boyz gang.

Gray’s sentencing is scheduled for January 2 at 8:30 a.m.
