Season of Savings: Green Monday gives you more holiday deals

Most people have heard about Cyber Monday and Black Friday; now, there is Green Monday too. This means more sales and specials for shoppers this holiday season.

Green Monday is, today, Dec. 10

Online retailer eBay is offering deals throughout the day, including half off watches, sheets and even robotic vacuums.
If you need to redecorate, Target is offering 30 percent off home goods among other things.
JC Penny is offering 25 to 30 percent off depending on how much you spend.
And shoppers will get 30 percent off and free shipping for orders from Belk on Green Monday.

Not every retailer is pushing Green Monday. Amazon is in the middle of its 12 Days of Deals with electronic discounts. Walmart is halfway through its 20 Days of Deals, so there is plenty of time to buy gifts and save.

Established more than a decade ago, Green Monday is usually the second Monday of December, and retailers offer deals to get you online and shopping.
