Season of Savings: Best credit cards for entertainment

Getting together with family and friends this holiday season can actually pay off, if you use the right credit cards.

Three credit cards can help you rake in the most rewards according to NerdWallet.

The Wells Fargo Propel American Express card gives you three times the points on dining out, travel, ridesharing services and more. There’s no annual fee and it also offers cell phone protection.

The Capital One Savor card has four percent cash back on dining and entertainment plus two percent at the grocery store. No annual fee with this card for the first year, and then the annual fee is $95 after that.

Finally, the Uber Visa offers four points on restaurants, three points on travel and there’s no annual fee. If you spend $5000 in a year, you’ll get $50 towards services like Netflix or Spotify.

So what’s the catch? You need to look at the interest rates and make sure you are not spending more on paying off the interest than you are getting back in rewards.
