A man who witnessed and recorded one of two violent brawls in Golden Gate says the charges don’t match up with the violent act he got on camera.

The manager at a Golden Gate laundromat who saw it is too afraid to show his face on camera.

“I heard some yelling and when that happens I’ll always get my video rolling,” they said.

In the video, two men chase another to the ground and a man in a pink shirt starts hitting the victim in the head.

“The guy that was doing the fighting didn’t like that I was videoing and he started to come at me in an aggressive manner,” the witness said.

Collier County deputies say they responded to a man “armed with a brick” beating someone outside a Golden Gate laundromat Monday in their report.

The witness says the victim was bleeding profusely from the facial area after the attack.

“This area around the shops has gotten a lot worse it’s gotten a lot worse,” he said.

Deputies couldn’t find the victim, but the arrested Rancel Hernandez for disorderly intoxication and disorderly conduct.

The manger of the laundromat says with what he witnessed, Hernandez should face more than the misdemeanors listed.

“I just hope this guy gets more charges than he’s received so far,at least assault,” he said.

Hernandez didn’t even spend 24 hours in jail. He’s out on bond tonight.

In the other fight, the other suspect is facing misdemeanors for randomly punching a man in the face several times. He is still behind bars.
