Two men arrested for allegedly robbing Cape Coral Circle K at gunpoint

Two men were arrested for armed robbery in Cape Coral after a week-long investigation.

Around 3:12 a.m. November 21, police were called to the gas station at 1829 Skyline Boulevard.

Two men pointed a handgun at the manager of the Circle K demanding money, and they fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

Major Crimes detectives investigated and with the help of tips through Southwest Florida Crimestoppers, were able to identify the two suspects as Jose Antonio Lopez Jr, 20, and Nikolas Tyler Mako, 18.

Both men were arrested and taken to the Lee County Jail. They face charges of robbery with a firearm and petit theft.
