Travel Tuesday is a great time to find flight and hotel deals

If an exotic getaway is on your wish list this holiday season, today might be the best time to buy.

Today is “Travel Tuesday” and airlines and hotels are offering some big discounts to get you out of your home this Christmas.

Frontier Airlines is offering one-way tickets starting at $34 to places like Nashville, Chicago and Cleveland.

Southwest Vacations is offering up to $250 off international destinations.

And in the way of accommodations, Orbitz and Expedia are offering significant discounts on hotel rooms.

These are just a few deals that are out there this week. One tip though: make sure you check luggage and additional seat charges before jumping on a deal.

And for all inclusive packages, make sure you find out where they leave from. Sometimes they only depart from certain airports two to three hours away.
