A fog advisory has been issued in Fort Myers on Sunday, which can impede travel on the busiest day of the year.

The morning haze makes it difficult to see, with some places having visibility below a quarter of a mile. With these conditions, it is imperative that drivers slow down — normal speeds in fog can be dangerous — and refrain from multitasking.

It is also recommended to use headlight. These headlights should be high-beam, never brights, as the fog consist of tiny water droplets that spread and reflect light. Drivers should leave plenty of distance ahead of their vehicle and the one ahead of them.
