WINK News spoke to a woman who tried to save his life after Juanta was hit by the van. “I took the baby from the daddy, trying to get him on his side so he can breathe and get all of the blood he had in his nose and his throat out to get him to wake up,” Melissa Hernadez said. Juanta was transported by Emergency Medical Services to Lee Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
