Photo – taken at the Colonial exit off I-75 looking North – submitted to WINK News. A funnel cloud made an appearance in Lee County Monday afternoon. A funnel cloud does not touch the ground. If it did, it would be a tornado. Meteorologist Scott Zedeker confirmed a funnel cloud appeared in the area. It did not become a tornado and presented no major danger to the area.
