Andrew Gillum, Democratic candidate for Florida governor, conceded to newly-elected Governor Ron DeSantis, Rep-Fla, Saturday.

This is the second time Gillum has conceded defeat in the governor’s race in the state after retracting his concession on the night of Election Day. DeSantis still led by more than 30,000 votes after the machine recount was tabulated. This gave DeSantis a 0.41 percent lead over Gillum, who reportedly gained one more vote in Florida after the machine recount.

President Donald Trump tweeted a response to Gillum for his effort to assume office as Florida’s governor.

Gillum Posted a video on Facebook LIVE Saturday and congratulated DeSantis on his victory, while thanking all voters and those who supported him in his race for governor.
