Sheriff’s deputies search for individual in Bonita Springs

Employees at a diner in Lee County were told to stay inside by sheriff’s deputies this weekend. Deputies on foot and in a helicopter were searching for someone.

Lee County Sheriff’s Office searched for an unnamed individual in Bonita Springs Sunday night.

K9-unit dogs were on scene. Employees at the Waffle House were told to stay inside. WINK News was also told to stay away from a forest line directly across from the diner, as not to disturb tracks being followed to find an unnamed individual.

Deputies appeared to be covering a wide search from I-75 to Imperial Parkway for the individual.
