Three people — two men and a woman — are facing charges for defrauding people in Upstate New York out of hundreds of dollars.

Officers said Roger Dunn, 44, Nicole Dunn, 34, and Earl Woodridge, 27, went door-to-door collecting money for 6-year-old cancer patient Kaylee Marshfield.

They downloaded her picture from a local news website and told people they represented “Kicking it with Kaylee.”

That’s a real campaign designed to raise money for Kaylee’s fight against cancer, but the three suspects have nothing to do with it.

Kaylee’s father said using her to steal money from people is despicable.

“It’s infuriating when someone goes around using your daughter to collect money,” Todd Marshfield said. “You’re helpless. There’s nothing you can do about it. You feel angry for the people that donated to somebody that’s scum. Excuse me, but you don’t do that.”

The good news is Kaylee is cancer free now.
