Construction on Del Prado in Cape Coral causing traveling frustrations

As season is coming into full swing, people traveling along Del Prado in Cape Coral are becoming more frustrated with construction going on, that’s causing delays.

Drivers who travel the road frequently say it’s an extremely busy intersection at Del Prado and Hancock, and this project is only making it worse.

Residents say the timing of the project, right as the busy season is coming doesn’t make sense.

“Think the timing is horrible. We’re talking the end of October and things going to go on… Probably, they usually go longer than what they say and we’re going to be right over well past the first of the year and into season,” said Roger Neal, who lives in Cape Coral.

Officials say the project could take months to finish, and all residents in the area can do is brace for the traffic nightmare if they travel through that area.
