Vehicle crash on the Edison Bridge sends three to the hospital

Two cars were involved in a crash that sent one car over the Edison Bridge. An investigation is still active to figure out how the crash occurred.

Florida Highway Patrol reported the crash Saturday afternoon.

One car was spotted in the water, and three people were taken to the hospital.

It is unclear at this time what caused the crash.

FHP is investigating the crash and Lee County Sheriff’s Office are on scene assisting with traffic control.
