Increased security on school campuses in Collier County

Over night, WINK News received several calls in regards to a threat made towards Naples High School.

Collier County Sheriff’s Office shared a post on Facebook stating they were aware of the threats, and would be ramping up security presence on all campuses.

CCSO is asking any students or staff or near by residents that see anything suspicious to alert law enforcement.

The school has added security measures to ensure safety, such as checking each person that comes on campus, as well as having proper identification to enter the building.
