An investigation is underway after a woman was shot at the intersection of Blake Street and Palm Avenue in Fort Myers. According to FMPD, as officers arrived at the scene where they found Aisha Christine Peete, 29, with a gunshot wound to the foot. Peete was transferred to Lee Memorial hospital with non-life threatening injuries. In the report, both witnesses and the victim said it was a drive-by shooting and the suspects were two men in an older green truck. The shooting is currently under investigation.
