Charlotte County community gather at Englewood event to discuss red tide

Hundreds of concerned residents gathered at an event addressing red tide in Englewood Friday.

They talked about the toxic bloom’s effect on the Charlotte County community and activists discussed natural solutions like duckweed to take nitrates and phosphates out of the water.
