Crash blocks portion of I-75, snarls traffic in North Fort Myers

A crash Monday afternoon shut down the left southbound lane and caused backups on Interstate 75, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash happened around 1:33 p.m. at mile marker 148, according to the FHP.

The circumstances leading up to the crash were unclear.
