Two teenagers are now behind bars after a traffic stop linked them to a Lehigh Acres murder earlier this month.

“Shocking. When I was 13 I think I was playing with my barbie dolls,” said neighbor Ashley Green.

Deputies arrested a 16-year-old and a 13-year-old who were found with stolen guns that linked them to the April 7 murder.

Deputies also arrested 20-year-old Ricky Logonde a few weeks ago for the same crime.

“I think it’s just terrible. Something needs to be done in the community,” Green said.

The three suspects are accused of robbing and shooting a self-employed taxi driver near Ruth Avenue and 31st Street West.

The driver was shot multiple times and died from his injuries.

All three suspects are charged with second-degree murder and robbery with a firearm.
