To get a burn permit for commercial or contractor services should call the Florida Forest Service 239-690-8001. To report a burn ban violation, call the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office’s non-emergency line at 863-674-5600, or the Hendry County Code Enforcement at 863-675-5247. The burn ban is in effect until further notice, according to county officials.
