Suspect sought in Lehigh Acres armed robbery

One suspect is at large after an armed robbery in Lehigh Acres early Monday morning according to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers.

The suspect entered a Walgreens on 38 Homestead Road around 4 a.m., Crime Stoppers said. The suspect pointed a long gun at the store clerk and demanded all of the cash from the register.

The employee gave over the money and the suspect left in an unknown direction with an unknown amount of cash.

The suspect was dressed in all black clothing and a mask, according to Crime Stoppers.
