One person was killed and two others were injured Monday night in a crash on State Road 82, the Florida Highway Patrol said. The two-vehicle wreck happened around 9:33 p.m. on State Road 82, west of State Road 29, according to the FHP. Roselane Auguste, 21, of Jacksonville –a passenger in a 2009 Nissan Altima– was killed in the crash, State troopers said. She was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. The Nissan was traveling eastbound on State Road 82 and a 2007 Dodge Caravan was traveling westbound east of the Nissan, according to State troopers. The Nissan then entered the westbound lane and hit the front of the Dodge. Following the collision, the dodge stopped in between the eastbound and westbound lanes of State Road 82. The driver of the Nissan suffered serious injuries and the driver of the Dodge sustained critical injuries, State troopers said. Both were taken to Lee Memorial Hospital.
