Cape coffee shop, animal rescue organization help pets find homes - WINK News

Southwest Florida residents can grab a cup of coffee, bring their dog and help an animal in need Sunday at Puppucino Superhero Pet Day.

Scooter’s Coffee is hosting the event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the coffee shop on 1014 Del Prado Blvd. S.

Paws Crossed Inc. is an organization dedicated to advocacy for animal shelter adoption, according to the Facebook page. The organization helps to raise awareness through community events such as the Puppucino Superhero Pet Day, according to Rachel McGowan, of Paws Crossed Inc.

Event proceeds benefit the Cape Coral Animal Shelter.
