A man was seen trying to lure a girl into his car near East Naples Middle School, according to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office. A witness told deputies she saw it take place at Lakewood Boulevard and Estey Avenue in a crosswalk leading to the school around 4:30 p.m. Thursday, the sheriff’s office said. The girl shook her head no and rode away on her bike as the man sped off. The witness described the man as Hispanic, in his late 50s or 60s, clean-shaven and overweight, with glasses and gray hair, according to the sheriff’s office.
