Eddie Montalvo, 20, of Clewiston, was thrown from his Suzuki SV650 bike after it collided with a Chevrolet Malibu turning left into a driveway from North Hacienda Street in the Montura Ranch Estates community, the Florida Highway Patrol said. The driver of the Malibu, 23-year-old Noel Garcia Perez of Clewiston, violated the right of way, according to the FHP. He told troopers he couldn’t see the motorcycle because of headlights from another oncoming vehicle. The crash took place at 9:49 p.m. just south of Bald Cypress Avenue in the community adjacent to County Road 833, the FHP said. Montalvo was wearing a helmet.
