Collier County provides relief for Irma victims

EAST NAPLES, Fla. Collier County has a plan to help neighborhoods devastated by Hurricane Irma.

The county allocated more than $3 million for general repairs and demolishing damaged property.

Anyone interested can apply for relief in Room 211 at 3339 Tamiami Trail E. in East Naples.

Additional temporary field offices will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Oct. 18 at the following places:

  • The Roberts Center, 905 Roberts Ave. W., Immokalee
  • Everglades Airpark, 650 E.C. Airpark Road, Everglades City

Residents should bring proof of income and what benefits, if any, they’ve received from FEMA.

The deadline to apply is Nov. 9.
