Bank robbed on Tamiami Trail in North Naples

NORTH NAPLES, Fla. A Chase bank was robbed Thursday afternoon on Tamiami Trail, according to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office.

The strong-arm robbery happened at around 5:03 p.m. on 4700 Tamiami Trail North, deputies said. The suspect entered the bank and approached a teller with a note demanding money while displaying a handgun.

The teller complied and the suspect took off with an undisclosed amount of money, deputies said.

There were no injuries, deputies said.

Patrol, K9 and aviation units are searching for the suspect in the area, deputies said.
