FORT MYERS, Fla. Multiple weapons were confiscated and at least 10 people were handcuffed early Friday at apartments near Lee Memorial Hospital.

The bust was connected to a drug deal, Fort Myers police said.

Officers briefly blocked the intersection of Grand and Canal streets, where the bust was made, before clearing the roadblock after 5 a.m.

Some of those in handcuffs were later let go, while others were taken away in police cruisers.

The activity was close to multiple school bus stops.

No further information was immediately available.
