EVERGLADES CITY, Fla. Businesses affected by Hurricane Irma will have the opportunity to ask questions and get assistance Thursday, the Collier County Business and Economic Development Division said.

The Florida Gulf Coast University Mobile Assistance Center will provide assistance to business owners from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. next to Everglades City Hall at 102 Copeland Ave. N.

Everglades City partnered with the Collier County Business Recovery Center and FGCU to help businesses destroyed or damage due to Hurricane Irma, according to officials.

“We took our office on the road to reach out to the area in Collier County most impacted by Hurricane Irma and to help businesses, crabbing and fishing industries that need help getting back on their feet before ‘season’ arrives,” said Jace Kentner, director of the county Office of Business & Economic Development, in a statement.

A Small Business Administration representative will also attend to help answer questions on SBA loans until 2 p.m.

Collier County Business Recovery Center is operating from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday until further notice at 3510 Kraft Road, No. 200, in Naples. Visit the Collier County Emergency and Disaster Assistance website for more information.
