Marco Island to resume debris pickups after Irma

MARCO ISLAND, Fla. The City of Marco Island will resume storm debris removal Friday, officials said.

Garbage and recycling pickups were suspended ahead for Collier County of Hurricane Irma, which hit Southwest Florida on Sept. 10. Debris collection in the county will take four to six months, County Manager Leo Ochs said.
