The first registration sites for the Food for Florida initiative will open this week, the Deparment of Children and Families said. Online preregistration is strongly encouraged, the DCF said. Those already receiving benefits from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, commonly known as SNAP or food stamps, are ineligible to apply. Click here for more eligibility information.
